How Glowmi's face scan works
Glowmi's face scan is a skin and color analysis from one bare-face selfie. It reads your skin, hair, eyes, natural lip color, and features to build your Beauty Profile: your color season, the shades that suit you, and complete looks made for your face. It is cosmetic guidance only, not a medical diagnosis.

What it reads
From a clear bare-face photo, the scan looks for traits that matter for makeup decisions:
- Apparent skin tone (how light or deep your skin looks) and undertone family
- Hair color, eye color, and natural lip color
- Face, eye, brow, and lip shape
- Skin type cues and visible concerns that can affect shade and finish choices
What you get
- Your colors — a 12-season color type, eye, lip, and cheek shades (tap one to see why it suits you), 2–3 colors to skip, and complexion guidance for foundation and concealer
- Your looks — 4–6 complete looks built from your shades and adapted to your features, each with a preview on your own face and a step-by-step tutorial
- Me — your face, eye, brow, and lip shape, each with a technique tip, plus your coloring, skin type, and concerns framed as makeup fixes
How to take a useful selfie
- Use daylight or even, natural light
- No makeup and no filters on the scan photo
- Face the camera directly with a neutral expression
Photos with makeup, filters, bad light, or no clear face are rejected with a retake tip instead of producing a wrong result.
What it does not claim
- It does not diagnose, treat, or assess medical skin conditions
- It does not replace a dermatologist, esthetician, or makeup artist
- It does not guarantee one exact foundation bottle across every brand
- Results are suggestions based on what the photo shows, not clinical findings
